Morgan Paine scored his first career GOJHL goal at 5:11 of overtime to lift the Komoka Kings to a 3-2 opening night win over the Waterloo Siskins in front of 350 spectators at the Komoka Wellness Centre on Saturday night.
Parker Graham scored his first two career GOJHL goals for the Kings. Liam King and Jackson Halloran replied for the Siskins.
Kings netminder Xavier Bussiere stopped 30 of 32 shots faced for his first win as a King. Mason Courville made 31 saves in his GOJHL debut for the Siskins.
