The Komoka Kings have completed a trade with the St. Marys Lincolns.
In the deal, the Kings acquired centre David Heath and defenceman Tyson Cartier. Forward Owen Miniotas went the other way to the Lincolns.
Miniotas, a London Knights third-round selection, had 12 goals and 36 points in 45 games last season for Komoka.
The Newcomers: David Heath
Heath, a 2009-born player, is off to a hot start this season. He notched five goals in six games to begin the campaign in Lincoln threads.
The right-handed shot out of the London Jr. Knights program hails from London and has also skated for the North Middlesex Stars of the PJCHL.
Tyson Cartier
16-year-old Cartier has made several stops along his road to Komoka, beginning with the Kitchener Junior Rangers program playing U-14 AAA puck.
Having also played for the Waterloo Wolves and Huron Perth Lakers AAA, Cartier has three goals and seven points in 11 games of GOHL action.
Cartier brings some size to the Kings. He clocks in at 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds.
The Komoka Kings would like to thank Miniotas for his time in Komoka and wish him all the best moving forward.
