The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce that the club has re-signed 2008-born defenceman Shane Neusteter for the 2025-2026 season.
Neusteter is a 6’0, 180-pound defenceman, who played last year with the Kings as a 16 year old. The Aylmer, ON native played in all 50 Kings regular season games last season. He was named to the Top Prospects Roster for the GOJHL, and scored his first goal in the league on January 3rd, against the St. Marys Lincolns.
He is a former Elgin-Middlesex Canuck, who played under Kings Head Coach Johnny Warren in his U15 year in 2022-2023. Neusteter is also a draft choice of the Sarnia Sting in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection, going in the 4th round, 76th overall.
Shane sat down with voice of the Kings Dylan Baker for an interview, which you can watch HERE.
The Kings look forward to seeing Shane back in the lineup this season.
