The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce the signing of 2009-born defenceman Jesse Debruyn for the 2025-2026 season.
Jesse stands 6’0 and 183 pounds, hailing from Exeter, ON, and was a member of a very strong Huron-Perth Lakers U16 AAA team last year. Debruyn played in 30 regular season games for Huron-Perth, posting seven goals and eight assists for 15 points. Debruyn logged big minutes last season, and in the playoffs he scored 7 goals in 11 games for his group, which made an appearance in the OHL Cup.
This past OHL Draft, Jesse was selected by the Windsor Spitfires in the 4th round, 76th overall. Debruyn is one of two 16 year olds signed by the Kings for the upcoming year.
