The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce the signing of 2008-born defenceman, Tyson Ackerman.
Tyson has spent the past several seasons playing locally with the Elgin-Middlesex Canucks AAA organization. Last year, as part of the U18 Canucks’ team which won the Alliance Championship and reached the Telus Cup, Ackerman put up six goals and 21 assists for 27 points in 31 games. Standing at 6’0 and 160 pounds, the dynamic defenceman averaged nearly 20 minutes per night last year. Ackerman is also a 2024 draft pick of the Saginaw Spirit, where he was selected in the 12th round.
