Defenceman Walker Re-Signs for Third Season as a King

The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce that 2006-born defenceman Trent Walker has re-signed with the club for the 2025-2026 season.

Walker is a 6’0, 180-pound defenceman who has spent the last two seasons with the Kings. Last year, Walker scored his first goal in the GOJHL on January 11th vs. Chatham. He also had three assists last season, totalling four points on the year. Walker spent big minutes on the Kings blueline, playing in all situations for the club, while also providing a physical presence on the back end. Walker was named an assistant captain last year, exemplifying his leadership for the club. 2

Walker needs just 13 games this season to pass the 100 GP plateau in the GOJHL. He previously spent time with the Lambton Jr. Sting AAA U18 team, where he notched one goal and 10 assists for 11 points in 40 games. Prior to that, he was a Chatham-Kent Cyclone at the U16 level.

Trent sat down with voice of the Kings Dylan Baker for an interview, which you can watch HERE.

The Kings look forward to having Trent in the lineup once again this season.
