The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce that 2008-born defenceman Nathan Gaitens has re-signed with the club for the 2025-2026 season.
Gaitens spent last year with the Kings as a 16-year old, and led all defenceman on the club in scoring with four goals and 16 assists for 20 points in 47 games. Gaitens was solid on the power play for the Kings’ blueline, amassing three goals and eight assists for 11 power play points. He ranked fifth in scoring among 2008-born GOJHL defenceman last year and ranked tied for sixth in power play assists for rookie defencemen.
Gaitens is a 2024 draft pick of the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL, where he was selected in the fourth round, 77th overall and is a native of Tillsonburg, ON.
