The Komoka Kings are pleased to announce that the club’s 2025-26 leading scorer, Morgan Paine, has re-signed with the team for the upcoming season.
Paine, 18, played his first season of junior hockey last year and posted 17 goals and 24 assists for 41 points, playing all 50 games for the Kings. Paine’s production increased as the season went along. From December onward, he had 12 goals and 1 assists for 28 points in 26 games. That stretch included seven multi-point games, five games of three points or more, two point streaks of four or more games and one four-point performance.
Paine has always been an offensive producer, as he posted 41 points in 34 GP with the Alliance U18 Champion Elgin-Middlesex Canucks in the 2024-25 season. Prior to that, he spent time with the Chatham-Kent Cyclones organization.
The Kings look forward to getting back to the 2026-27 season beginning in September, with training camp and preseason play kicking off in August.
